Creative Greensboro Accepting Applications for Residency at the Hyers

Creative Greensboro, the City’s office of arts and culture, is now inviting proposals for its prestigious 2025 Residency at the Hyers Program. The priority application window is open until December 8, 2024. More information and application details are available at Residency at the Hyers).

This program offers a unique, rent-free, four-week residency for dance, theatre, music, and poetry projects led by Guilford County-based creatives. In addition to exclusive access to the 88-seat Stephen H. Hyers black box theater for rehearsals and performances, resident artists will be supported with materials, equipment, technical theater staff, marketing of residency activities, and a $1,200 stipend. This year, Creative Greensboro is particularly interested in projects that engage communities of color, low-income residents, or individuals who are disabled, aiming to diversify the artistic offerings at the Greensboro Cultural Center.
